PhD Stipend in ENSYMORA Energy Scenario Development and Analysis


PhD Apply College Scholarships that are part of a research project ENSYMORA Energy system modeling, research and analysis supported by the Danish Council of Strategic Research under the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation. PhD research will include the establishment of a basic scenario for Denmark mainly based on inputs from other projects and other work packages in ENSYMORA and to develop new scenarios include:
1) No fossil fuel use in the Danish energy system in the long term,
2) Strong reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,
3) limit future use of biomass,
4) International Trade vs. domestic action. PhD student Health Apply College Scholarships


This Apply College Scholarships project is a collaboration with Pieter Medendorp of the Donders Institute of the Radboud University; the neuroimaging experiments will be performed in his lab in Nijmegen.

Part of your work will be to contribute to the Faculty education program for 160 hours in the first and second year of the project.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative candidates with a MSc in (one of) the natural sciences, human movement sciences, mechanical or biomedical engineering, psychology or related discipline. A Apply College Scholarships strong mathematical background and experience in programming (e.g. MatLab) are very welcome as well as excellent writing and presentation skills in English.

Conditions of employment

The Apply College Scholarships initial appointment will be for a period of 18 months. After satisfactory evaluation of the initial appointment it will be extended for a total duration of 4 years. Federal National SMART Grant Program Apply College Scholarships


The SMART Grant Apply College Scholarships is a federal grant for students in third and fourth year, the Pell grants by the federal government and citizens of the United States and specialize in physical, life or computer science, engineering, mathematics, technology or critical foreign language. Students can for $ 4,000 per year.
MSU will determine whether you qualify for the grant of SMART and enter the first forecast. Once confirmed by the Federal Government, the estimated price of the actual prices will be replaced.
Apply College Scholarships There is no separate application and pay the award automatically once you have registered. You can receive the award while enrolled at least full time (12 credits per semester), but the amount paid is less than the amount shown on your award letter. All Apply College Scholarships recipients must have a 3.0 GPa

School of Computer, Engineering and Physical Sciences wishes to appoint an EPSRC CASE PhD studentship in collaboration with BAE Systems. The Apply College Scholarships studentship is tenable for up to 3.5 years for a PhD (via MPhil route) [subject to satisfactory progress]. The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees for UK/EU residents plus a stipend (up to £16,000 for 2010/11) (stipend subject to residence requirements for EU applicants) per annum. The sApply College Scholarships uccessful applicant will start on 1 July 2011. Due to EPSRC residence criteria, this studentship will not be open to International students.
The Apply College Scholarships project aims to investigate and develop new and innovative human-and-computer interaction techniques required to help increase endurance of the autonomous systems. Human-centric autonomous system allows for human operators the ability to understand and interact with the artificial operator during system’s operation. You will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, interact and collaborate effectively across a diverse range of people and organisations together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. Canada : Roberta Bondar Fellowship in Northern and Polar Studies Scholarship

Trent University is seeking applications for the post-doctoral Roberta Bondar Fellowship in Northern & Polar Studies. The position is for a 12 month term (with an option of a one time renewal) at a salary of $42,500 (under review), plus research allowance, beginning August 15, 2011. This position is aimed at recently graduated Ph.D.’s (within 5 years of graduation) in the humanities, social sciences or relevant interdisciplinary fields with research interests in northern and polar regions, focusing on, but not strictly limited to, Canada’s North. The candidate is expected to reside locally and participate in the general milieu of Trent and especially its Northern research activities. Specific duties consist of teaching one course equivalent in the area of the candidate’s specialty and two public lectures. Individuals from a wide range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields are encouraged to apply. Final applications (including a letter indicating interest in the position; a description of the focus of the work to be undertaken during the Fellowship and its relationship to the mandate of the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies.
