PhD student Health Apply College Scholarships


This Apply College Scholarships project is a collaboration with Pieter Medendorp of the Donders Institute of the Radboud University; the neuroimaging experiments will be performed in his lab in Nijmegen.

Part of your work will be to contribute to the Faculty education program for 160 hours in the first and second year of the project.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative candidates with a MSc in (one of) the natural sciences, human movement sciences, mechanical or biomedical engineering, psychology or related discipline. A Apply College Scholarships strong mathematical background and experience in programming (e.g. MatLab) are very welcome as well as excellent writing and presentation skills in English.

Conditions of employment

The Apply College Scholarships initial appointment will be for a period of 18 months. After satisfactory evaluation of the initial appointment it will be extended for a total duration of 4 years. The Apply College Scholarships salary will be in accordance with university regulations for academic personnel, and amounts € 2.042,- gross per month in the first year up to € 2.612,- in the fourth year based on a full-time employment.

Federal National SMART Grant Program Apply College Scholarships


The SMART Grant Apply College Scholarships is a federal grant for students in third and fourth year, the Pell grants by the federal government and citizens of the United States and specialize in physical, life or computer science, engineering, mathematics, technology or critical foreign language. Students can for $ 4,000 per year.
MSU will determine whether you qualify for the grant of SMART and enter the first forecast. Once confirmed by the Federal Government, the estimated price of the actual prices will be replaced.
Apply College Scholarships There is no separate application and pay the award automatically once you have registered. You can receive the award while enrolled at least full time (12 credits per semester), but the amount paid is less than the amount shown on your award letter. All Apply College Scholarships recipients must have a 3.0 GPa

PhD Studentships Apply College Scholarships in Human-Centric Autonomous System


School of Computer, Engineering and Physical Sciences wishes to appoint an EPSRC CASE PhD studentship in collaboration with BAE Systems. The Apply College Scholarships studentship is tenable for up to 3.5 years for a PhD (via MPhil route) [subject to satisfactory progress]. The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees for UK/EU residents plus a stipend (up to £16,000 for 2010/11) (stipend subject to residence requirements for EU applicants) per annum. The sApply College Scholarships uccessful applicant will start on 1 July 2011. Due to EPSRC residence criteria, this studentship will not be open to International students.
The Apply College Scholarships project aims to investigate and develop new and innovative human-and-computer interaction techniques required to help increase endurance of the autonomous systems. Human-centric autonomous system allows for human operators the ability to understand and interact with the artificial operator during system’s operation. You will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, interact and collaborate effectively across a diverse range of people and organisations together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. Apply College Scholarships for International Students

Apply College Scholarships The number of positions funded by the University will be established by the Graduate School after 10 June 2011.

Foreign students wishing to apply for admission to a PhD Program for the Academic Year 2011/12 must submit an application no later than 25 April 2011.

Foreign students will be evaluated by submitting an online application by 25 April 2011. At the conclusion of the online application process, applicants must attach in electronic format a “pdf” file with a maximum size of 15 MB containing:

  1. A Curriculum Vitae with details of achieved degree(s), relevant examination results and/or results of degree requirements with assessment and/or grade (i.e., transcript details), and the date of degree achievement.
  2. A research proposal (maximum size of one (1) page on A4 paper)
  3. A List of Publications
